“This year I took part in Trek For Hope 2014 to Cambodia. I enjoyed myself as it was really an eye opener and most importantly it made me realise how fortunate I actually am….
Believe it or not, one of the most enjoyable moment for me during trek was the frequent water crossings. Without them, the trek would be less interesting. Besides the trek, the experience to visit the shrines and waterfall and even swim in, was out of this world. Blessed with a clear moonless night, we were also able to sleep outdoor under the blanket of a billion stars. I have never seen anything like it before. It is a breathtaking sight to behold which we will never be able to get back in Singapore. With
Uncle Simon’s competitive stickers to motivate everyone to try a few new things, the fun never ceased.
This Cambodia trip is my first hiking trip and is already one of my best travel trips ever. It allows me to make many new wonderful friends of all ages and having fun outdoor. With everyone’s blessing, I won the ‘Best Camper Award’. All in all, I really enjoyed myself and I am looking forward to joining the next hiking trip.
Thanks everyone! Thanks Dad!”
